The EchoPilot FLS 3D provides a three-dimensional view of the underwater scene ahead of the vessel, including seabed terrain and potential hazards.
Raymarine Axiom integration
Connection to Raymarine Axiom displays uses the RayNet network and an RJ45-to-RayNet cable. The EchoPilot app provides forward-looking sonar imaging and can be used alongside charts in split-screen mode.
The colour three-dimensional image supports 360° touch rotation and zoom. Confirm the display model, software version and required interface equipment before installation.
Transducers and coverage
• Two retractable transducers for forward coverage.
• 60° horizontal field of view and over 90° vertically.
• Forward range up to 200 m and depth up to 100 m.
• 5-inch and 10-inch transducers, according to hull requirements.
• Bronze, steel or aluminium through-hull fitting options.
Real-time imaging
The FLS 3D presentation specifies a forward-range-to-depth ratio of up to 20:1, illustrated by 100 m ahead in 5 m of water. The image updates every second. Actual capability depends on installation and conditions.
The system is also designed as a black box for use with a compatible display that has a video input.
