The Axiom name does not describe one shared sonar input for every display. First identify the generation and version, then choose the correct documentation.

The Axiom 2 Pro S example

Raymarine documents CPT-S transducer connection through A80490 to the S version's 25-pin port. It does not allow RealVision Max, RealVision, DownVision or SideVision transducers on this version. The same pin count or adapter does not establish equivalent sonar functions.

The Axiom 2 Pro RVM example

RVM has a different set of options and separate RV/RVM and 1 kW inputs. Elmare's connection guide therefore keeps S and RVM separate. Select the exact version before viewing the available paths.

Transducer connection and network sonar imagery

Distinguish two questions: which transducer physically connects to the display, and which external sonar module can provide an image over the network. The latter is a different path needing its own documentation. We do not infer a direct transducer connection simply because a display can show sonar.

A quick technician's check

Start with the label and record what is already installed. If a combination is absent from the tool, ask us to check it: a missing listing does not automatically mean incompatibility.

• Complete transducer model and part number.

• Any external sonar module and cables.

• Desired function and exact connection path.
